North Reading Public Schools has anticipated openings for part-time Extended School Year Wilson Reading Tutors. North Reading Public Schools is actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential. 

 

Essential duties

  • Provide Wilson Reading tutorial services to students during the Extended School Year program
  • Complete end of summer progress report for identified students
  • Provide school-based arrival/dismissal supervision

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities, grades PreK-8 and/or 5-12
  • Certified in Wilson Reading
  • At least three (3) years relevant experience

Program dates

  • Four (4) weeks from July 8, 2024-August 1, 2024, Monday through Thursday
  • Five (5) weeks from July 8, 2024-August 8, 2024, Monday through Thursday
  • Dates of employment and specific hourly schedules may vary in accordance with program
