North Reading Middle School is seeking a long-term substitute Video Production teacher from May 6, 2024 through June 18, 2024, the anticipated end of the 2023-2024 school year. North Reading Public Schools is actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.

Essential duties 

• Unit/lesson planning
• Direct instruction of students
• Assessment of student learning
• Be available to conference with parents and families as needed or requested
• Work closely with our general arts team to ensure pacing and learning expectations are maintained
• Other duties as requested by the Building Principal 

 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education teaching license in Instructional Technology, all grades, and/or Visual Arts, grades 5-12
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Collaborative working demeanor
• Excellent oral and written communication skills 
• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
