North Reading Middle School is seeking a Math Teacher starting in school year 2024-2025. North Reading Public Schools is actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.

North Reading Public School Educators first contractual day is September 3, 2024. New educators will be required to attend the two day new staff orientation on dates still to be determined.

Essential duties 

• Unit/lesson planning
• Direct instruction of students
• Assessment of student learning
• Be available to conference with parents/guardians and families as needed or requested
• Work closely with Math content team and Coordinator of STEM Education to ensure pacing and learning expectations are maintained
• Other duties as requested by the Building Principal or their Designee

 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education teaching license in Mathematics, grades 5-8 and/or 8-12
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Collaborative working demeanor
• Excellent oral and written communication skills 
• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred 
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
